What is S-mount in BJJ?

S-mount positions your leg across your opponent's chest with your knee near their far shoulder, creating an S-shape. It is a high mount variation that offers powerful armbars and chokes. Your weight is higher on their chest, making it harder to breathe and bridge. S-mount is a transitional position - you typically move through it to attack rather than hold it statically.
